An industry-standard, high-voltage and high-current Darlington transistor array, globally known as ULN2003APG, housed in a breadboard-friendly 16-pin DIP (Through-Hole) package. This IC consists of seven NPN Darlington pairs that feature high-voltage outputs with common-cathode clamp diodes for switching inductive loads. Each individual channel is rated at 500mA and can withstand peak currents up to 600mA, with an operating voltage sustained up to 50V. It allows low-power microcontrollers (like Arduino or AVR) to safely drive high-power peripherals without risk. It is an indispensable component for driving stepper motors (such as the 28BYJ-48), multi-relay banks, solenoids, high-power LED matrices, and automated robotic systems.
