GY-9960-3.3 APDS-9960 Digital RGB, Ambient Light, Proximity, and Gesture Sensor Module (Unsoldered headers version), engineered for non-contact directional motion tracking and optical telemetry. Built around the Avago APDS-9960 integrated sensor suite, it features four directional IR diodes to recognize complex physical gestures (Up, Down, Left, Right, Near, Far) alongside ambient light intensity, RGB color sensing, and IR proximity detection. Communicating via the standard I2C bus interface at 3.3V logic levels, it incorporates a programmable interrupt output (INT) to streamline micro-controller execution. Supplied with un-soldered male pin headers, this module provides flexible soldering options for low-profile enclosures, serving as an ideal sensor baseline for contactless smart switches, touchless UI control, robotics, and microcontroller prototyping.
