A high-precision WCS1800 35A Hall Effect Current Detection Sensor Module, precision-engineered for linear analog current telemetry and ultra-fast overcurrent trip protection across AC and DC power systems. Built around the integrated WCS1800 Hall-effect sensor IC paired with an onboard LM393 voltage comparator, it measures inline conductor current up to 35A DC (25A AC RMS) with an analog output sensitivity scaled at 60mV per Ampere (60mV/A). The board features a multiturn potentiometer to adjust a precise overcurrent threshold limit; upon detecting an overcurrent fault, the digital output pin (DOUT) changes logic state while illuminating an onboard LED indicator for instantaneous microcontroller hardware interrupt handling. Offering up to 4000V galvanic isolation between the heavy current passage and sensitive low-voltage logic pins, it operates on a standard 5V DC power supply rail. This WCS1800 sensor module serves as an essential hardware baseline for undergraduate engineering students, solar system technicians, and IoT developers building smart current monitors and overcurrent protection relays.
