The PL2303 USB to TTL Module is a classic and highly economical programming tool, designed to connect the computer directly to microcontrollers and embedded systems that communicate via the serial (UART) interface, allowing data transfer, debugging, and software system updates for many smart devices.
The module is based on the famous Prolific PL2303 / PL2303HX chip, which is considered the standard Benchmark for educational and low-cost solutions. It is equipped with a transparent Heat Shrink Tubing to protect the small board components from electrical short circuits while working on experimental tables. The board outputs dual power lines (5V and 3.3V) to power sensors and small controllers directly without the need for an external power source.
